On September 22, the Ministry of Transport, the National Railway Administration, and China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. jointly issued the "Action Plan for Promoting Deep Integration and Development of Container Rail-Water Intermodal Transport with 'One Port, One Policy' (2025-2027)". The plan sets a target of achieving an average annual growth rate of approximately 15% in container rail-water intermodal transport volume by 2027.
