News | CCTP organized a visit to the BYD Flash Charging Station and the Yuanqi Xingguang Megawatt Heavy-Duty Truck Ultra-Fast Charging Station.

On April 22, 2026, the 32nd salon of the China Clean Transport Partnership (CCTP), themed Key Constraints and System Collaboration for the Scaled Development of Megawatt-level Ultra-Fast Charging, was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.To gain in-depth insights into the practical operation of technological implementation aligned with the salon’s theme, CCTP organized participating guests to conduct field visits and exchanges at the BYD Flash Charging Station and the Yuanqi Xingguang Megawatt-level Heavy-Duty Truck Ultra-Fast Charging Station in Beichuan, Mianyang, Sichuan. The participants carried out on-site observation and in-depth discussions on the application of megawatt-level ultra-fast charging technology in diverse vehicle scenarios, infrastructure compatibility, as well as vehicle-station collaborative operation.

Salon News | Themed Salon on Key Constraints and System Collaboration for the Scaled Development of Megawatt-level Ultra-Fast Charging Successfully Held in Chengdu

On April 22, 2026, coinciding with the 57th World Earth Day, the 32nd themed salon of the China Clean Transport Partnership (CCTP) themed Key Constraints and System Collaboration for the Large-scale Development of Megawatt-level Ultra-fast Charging was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.Co-hosted by CCTP and Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, the event gathered more than 40 experts, scholars and industry representatives from government authorities, universities, research institutions, power grid enterprises, charging operators and the heavy-duty truck industrial chain. In-depth exchanges were conducted on core topics including application scenario characteristics, power grid capacity bearing, and vehicle-station-grid collaboration amid the large-scale deployment of megawatt-level ultra-fast charging for new energy heavy-duty trucks.

From October 30 to 31, 2025, CCTP organized an expert team to visit Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, conducting on-site inspections and in-depth exchanges focusing on cutting-edge fields including new energy vessel refueling infrastructure, hydrogen applications in ports, and hydrogen equipment manufacturing. Aimed at gaining insights into the innovative practices of green energy from R&D to large-scale application, this trip serves as a key supplement to salon discussions, providing forward-looking perspectives and practical references for advancing the low-carbon transition in the transportation sector.
