On October 21, the General Office of the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality issued the Circular on Issuing the Implementation Plan for Guangzhou's Special Action to Boost Consumption. It is pointed out in the circular that efforts will be intensified to expand the scope of the trade-in program for consumer goods. The special funds for the trade-in of consumer goods will be fully utilized to continuously drive the consumption of automobiles and other related commodities. Active efforts will be made to secure the pilot program for the reform of automobile circulation and consumption. Support will be given to the large-scale development of used car circulation, the cultivation and expansion of used car business entities, and the improvement of the recycling and utilization system for end-of-life motor vehicles.
