Issued and implemented on October 30, the "Layout Plan for Low-Altitude Aircraft Takeoff and Landing Facilities in Shenzhen (2026-2035)", compiled by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources in conjunction with the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau, sets a goal of "scientifically planning and orderly constructing over 1,500 low-altitude takeoff and landing sites by 2035". The Plan proposes prioritizing the development of public services and logistics distribution, addressing key pain points and difficulties in urban governance and industrial development such as emergency medical supplies transportation and high-value-added cargo delivery as a priority, and enabling the fruits of the low-altitude economy to benefit social and people's livelihoods more quickly and directly.
