Issued jointly by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Transport and the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission on November 4, the "Circular on Issuing the Shanghai Action Plan for Reducing Costs, Improving Quality and Increasing Efficiency in Transportation and Logistics" specifies vigorous promotion of green technologies and equipment. It calls for full coverage of airport bridge-in power supply and ground auxiliary power facilities, and regular use of shore power by eligible ships at berths. New energy logistics vehicles will be more widely used in urban distribution, postal services and express delivery, while new energy heavy-duty trucks will be promoted in line with local conditions. Pilot applications of fuel cell vehicles will be advanced in heavy trucks and non-road mobile machinery, and support will be given to trials of ships using methanol and other new fuels. View Details >
