On June 26, the Tianjin Municipal Transportation Commission issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the Integrated Development of Port, Industry and City in Tianjin on its official website. Centering on three core dimensions — building a smart and green hub port, advancing port-industry linkage, and fostering an open and innovative port city — the Plan has scientifically established 17 indicators. It is projected that by 2030, Tianjin Port will record a container throughput of 29 million TEUs and a cargo throughput of 650 million metric tons respectively; the annual trips of China-Europe (Asia) Freight Trains will reach 1,000; the total output value of the five major port-side industries will amount to RMB 600 billion; and cruise passenger throughput will exceed 350,000 person-times.
