On June 18, relevant competent authorities of Sichuan Province officially issued the Several Policies and Measures of Sichuan Province for Supporting Green and Low-Carbon Development. In the field of clean transportation and green supporting infrastructure, the policy explicitly rolls out incentive schemes for charging infrastructure projects. For eligible newly-built charging facility projects, subsidies will be granted at no more than 40% of the total investment; for renovation projects, subsidies will cover no more than 50% of the incremental investment, with a maximum subsidy of RMB 1 million per single project.Meanwhile, the policy vigorously supports new-type energy storage and hydrogen energy projects in the energy sector. For projects including hydrogen production from renewable energy and hydrogen energy applications, subsidies from provincial budgetary capital construction investment will be provided at no more than 15% of the total investment, with a ceiling of RMB 20 million per project.This policy aims to effectively reduce enterprises' investment costs in green infrastructure and comprehensively accelerate the high-quality green and low-carbon transformation of Sichuan's energy mix through direct fiscal subsidies and leveraged incentive mechanisms.
