On June 25, the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission released the Notice on the Application of Special Support Funds for Transportation Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in Shanghai for 2026. As a direct fiscal incentive for the green transformation of the transportation sector, the document officially launched the 2026 application process for special funds for transportation energy conservation and emission reduction. Focusing on the low-carbon development of the transportation industry, the support funds leverage the guiding and multiplier effect of fiscal capital to provide subsidies for eligible emission reduction projects, including the replacement of new energy transport vehicles, construction of green transportation infrastructure (such as charging and swapping facilities and shore power systems), and technological upgrading for transportation energy conservation and carbon reduction. The policy aims to effectively reduce enterprises' green transformation costs and accelerate the large-scale rollout of clean transportation systems at the local level. View Details >
