On June 22, the Fujian Provincial Department of Transportation released the Several Measures on Accelerating World-class Port Construction and Promoting Integrated Development of Port, Shipping and Trade. With the goal of building world-class ports, the policy will continuously improve port infrastructure, deepen port resource integration, and advance the integrated development of port, shipping and trade. The document states that by the end of 2030, substantial breakthroughs will be achieved in world-class port construction, with remarkable progress in port resource integration, significantly improved collection and distribution efficiency and customs clearance facilitation.
