On May 11, Zhengzhou issued the Outline of Beautiful Zhengzhou Construction Plan (2025–2035), clarifying phased development goals for beautiful city construction by 2027 and 2035. The plan proposes to build the "Central Plains Hydrogen Capital" and actively and steadily advance carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Giving full play to its leading role in the "1+N+5" fuel cell vehicle demonstration application city cluster, Zhengzhou will promote integrated development with the "Zhengzhou-Kaifeng-Luoyang-Puyang Hydrogen Corridor", build a highland for innovative development of the hydrogen energy industry in the Central Plains region.
