On May 20, the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Yunnan Provincial Energy Bureau jointly issued the Implementation Plan for Promoting "AI Plus" High-quality Energy Development in Yunnan Province (2026–2030). The plan proposes that by 2027, an integrated innovation system of energy and artificial intelligence will be initially established, and more than 10 typical "AI plus" energy application scenarios will be built.
