On May 11, the General Office of Xi'an Municipal People's Government issued the Implementation Plan for Promoting High-quality Development of the Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industrial Chain in Xi'an. The plan takes new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles as the core, and accelerates the advanced, green and clustered development of the industry; by 2030, the output of intelligent connected new energy vehicles in the city will exceed 1.55 million units. The document also proposes to promote the demonstration application of vehicle-road-cloud integration, build a cloud control platform for ICVs, and advance the construction of 5G-A networks and C-V2X infrastructure. Supercharging facilities will be deployed along transport trunk lines such as expressway service areas, national highways and provincial highways, to promote the application of high-power charging equipment above 250kW, and explore innovative models such as "solar-storage-charging integration" and virtual power plants.
