On July 9, the State Council issued the 15th Five-Year Action Plan for Carbon Peaking. It proposes to actively promote the application of green fuels such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol, biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF); continuously strengthen the industrial competitiveness of new energy, new energy vehicles and power batteries, and foster industries including hydrogen energy and green fuels. By 2030, the proportion of new energy vehicles in the total vehicle stock will strive to reach 30%, and the share of new energy operating transport vehicles in the total operating transport stock will hit 25%.
