On March 6th, the Sichuan Provincial Government promulgated a series of policy measures titled "Supporting High-Quality Development of New Energy and Intelligent Network-Connected Vehicle Industries." The Measures emphasize the support for expanding the production of new energy vehicles (including hydrogen fuel cell vehicles). At the beginning of each year, cities (prefectures) are required to report their annual production targets for new energy vehicles to the Department of Economy and Information Technology, with rewards being granted to those that achieve their targets.The Measures also advocate for the accelerated promotion and application of new energy vehicles.
