Summary

On July 12, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology issued a notice seeking public comments on the "Several Measures by Chengdu to Accelerate the Enhancement of Low-Altitude Flight Service Capabilities and Cultivate the Low-Altitude Economy Market (Draft for Public Consultation)" and its implementation details. The announcement proposes accelerating the construction of low-altitude ground infrastructure. The construction of low-altitude ground infrastructure will be incorporated into urban planning and urban renewal. In new urban areas, new industrial parks, and pilot demonstration zones, infrastructure should be built wherever needed, while in existing urban areas, construction should follow the principle of adapting to local conditions. The city will support the construction of general aviation airports, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hub takeoff and landing sites, eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) takeoff and landing sites, and UAV takeoff and landing points as part of low-altitude infrastructure.Enterprises that invest in and construct low-altitude ground infrastructure and have been in actual operation for more than one year will receive financial subsidies amounting to 50% of the total actual investment (excluding the purchase of aircraft and software systems). The maximum subsidy for a single project is 1 million yuan, and no single enterprise can receive more than 5 million yuan per year. View Details >
