On January 17, the Ministry of Commerce, along with eight other departments, issued the "Notice on Implementing the 2025 Car Trade-In Program." The policy outlines that in 2025, individuals who transfer a passenger vehicle registered in their name and purchase a new passenger vehicle will be eligible for a one-time subsidy. The maximum subsidy for purchasing a new energy passenger vehicle is 15,000 yuan, while for a gasoline-powered passenger vehicle, the maximum subsidy is 13,000 yuan.To qualify for the subsidy, the transferred vehicle must be registered in the consumer's name no later than January 8, 2025.
