On June 26, the People's Government of Hunan Province issued "Guiding Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Multimodal Transport". It proposes that by 2030, a reasonably laid-out, efficiently connected, green and intelligent multimodal transport network will be basically established, driving waterway and railway freight turnover volumes to increase by approximately 10% and 14% respectively, with container rail-water intermodal transport achieving an annual average growth of 15%. The document focuses on nine key tasks including corridor construction, hub coordination, equipment upgrading, digital and intelligent empowerment, and green transformation.
