On July 15, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Energy Bureau and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Industry and Information Technology Department recently jointly issued "Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Hydrogen Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region". In accordance with the industrial layout of the Action Plan, Inner Mongolia focuses on developing the hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing industry with Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos, and Wuhai as key areas. Specifically, a hydrogen energy equipment R&D base will be laid out in Hohhot; a production base for solid-state hydrogen storage and fuel cell heavy-duty trucks will be established in Baotou; a base for R&D, manufacturing and testing of water electrolysis hydrogen production and transportation equipment will be set up in Ordos; and a base for purification of industrial by-product hydrogen and manufacturing of water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment will be arranged in Wuhai.
