Professor, Director of Sustainable Development Center, Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) 

MS graduate from Tsinghua University in 2006. He focuses on policy research on energy transition and low-carbon development. TIAN Zhiyu participated in compiling China’s Energy Revolution, Energy Conservation and Tackling Climate Change strategies, plans and policies, and published over 20 papers and 6 books. TIAN Zhiyu has been awarded by NDRC, NEA and AMR, and was a visiting scholar in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, USA (2009, 2015).
