Summary

① 2.83 million and 7.85 million new energy vehicles will be popularized in 2025 and 2030, respectively, to achieve the goal of reducing vehicle carbon emissions by 24% by 2030. In order to achieve the goal, the government stipulates that public institutions shall purchase new energy vehicles, and introduce and implement new energy vehicle purchase target system for private enterprises, and propose new energy vehicle purchase target for relevant enterprises. ②It will build 500,000 new charging facilities and ultra-high-speed charging piles by 2025, and build 450 hydrogen refueling stations across the country. ③It will build a platform dedicated to new energy vehicles, promote the localization of auto parts, and reduce the price of new energy vehicles by more than 10 million won (about 58,200 yuan) by 2025. Cut car prices in half by offering battery rental services. On the carbon neutral side, the government is considering a scheme to regulate the carbon emissions of cars according to their age. ④The export volume of new energy vehicles increased from 280,000 units last year to 830,000 units in 2025, and the share of automobile exports increased from 14.6% to 34.6% in the same period. ⑤Hydrogen fuel cell models will be popularized in all models by 2025; by 2030 commercialize all solid-state batteries, transform more than 1,000 companies into future auto parts companies, the government will set up a 200 billion won New Deal fund for Future Auto, build research and development departments, and train related personnel.
