On March 20, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a new set of emissions standards for light and medium vehicles manufactured in 2027 and beyond. The implementation of this emission standard will effectively reduce greenhouse gases, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides (NOx) and PM2.5 particles released by new vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, large pickups and trucks, which will not only help reduce air pollution, but also bring significant health benefits to millions of residents across the country. To ensure a smooth transition, the new emissions standards will be phased in between the 2027 and 2032 model years. View Details >
