Haode LIU is Deputy Director of Research Center for Urban Transportation and Rail Transit, China Academy of Transportation Sciences. Majored in Traffic Information Engineering and Control, he got his Ph.D degree from School of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University and finished his postdoctoral research work at School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University. Dr. Liu is interested in sustainable transportation research, including public transportation policy, planning theory and technology, advanced public transportation System, intelligent transportation System, and application research of new energy vehicles etc. He has hosted and participated in more than 20 projects, including 7 national level projects and 4 international cooperation projects, and many achievements have been adopted in national and local public transportation management. He has participated in 7 national or transportation industry standards and specifications, publishing more than 30 papers and 9 books, earning 2 patents and 8 software copyright. His research was awarded 4 times by China Highway and Transportation Society and Shanghai, Chongqing government. As a member of China Highway and Transportation Society, he was awarded as "National Highway Outstanding Science and Technology Worker" in 2016.
