On April 25, 2019, under the elaborate preparation and against the background of the grand opening of the "Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum", the "Towards Zero-Emission Mobility Forum 2019" hosted by CCTP was successfully held in Beijing under CCTP is a non-governmental, non-profit, voluntary platform for exchange, cooperation, and dissemination of views, co-founded by institutions engaged in research and promotion of innovation mechanisms for clean transportation in China. As an annual event of CCTP, the Energy Foundation China, Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation, Vehicle Emission Control Center, CRAES, Energy Research Institute, NDRC, Transport Planning and Research Institute, MOT, China Academy of Transportation Sciences, MOT, China Society of Automotive Engineer, China Automotive Technology & Research Center Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Transport Institute, Shanghai Electric Vehicle Public Data Collecting, Monitoring and Research Center, Clean Air Asia, Natural Resources Defense Council, World Resources Institute, Rocky Mountain Institute, Institute for Transportation & Development Policy, Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center Co., Ltd., and other 18 partner institutions, coalesced with more than 100 experts and industry practitioners to jointly discuss viable strategies for reducing transportation energy consumption, energy conservation, emission reductions, and the future development of electric vehicles.

Wang Baixia of China Automotive Technology and Research Center Ltd gave a keynote speech on the "Hainan Province Clean Energy Vehicle Development Plan"
The conference consisted of four main themes: Theme 1: Impact of Transportation Environment and Emission Control; Theme 2: 2050 Clean Transportation Outlook; Theme 3: Coordinated Development of Energy Saving and New Energy Vehicles; and Theme 4: Optimization of Transportation Structure and Integrated Development of Transportation. Each theme was presided over by a leader or executive committee member of a CCTP partner institution and featured four guest speakers. After each guest speech, there was time for thematic discussion and audience questions, making for an exciting conference.
In the last section, the conference was summarized by Dr. An Feng to a round of applause from the participants, bringing the annual conference to a successful end. The convening of this year's conference will start a new journey for CCTP's future development.
