On February 15, 2018, CCTP successfully hosted its second workshop in Shanghai, co-hosted with the Shanghai Electric Vehicle Public Data Collecting, Monitoring and Research Center. More than 30 experts, scholars, and industry practitioners from 18 organizations participated in the workshop. They identified the existing data resources within CCTP, understood the data needs of partner institutions, and explored cooperation possibilities. Participants also discussed how big data from new energy vehicles can serve policy-making and innovation in the areas of transportation, energy conservation, and emission reduction.
